Job Summary
Implement the entire project cycle for moderate to complex projects, covering design, development, material procurement, construction, and completion. Prepare technical construction specifications and pipeline simulation results while reviewing plans for code compliance and safety standards. Evaluate bids, select materials, and manage budgets, timelines, and problem resolution for multiple projects. Provide engineering and troubleshooting support for operating assets and participate in PSM activities including PHA/LOPAs, PSSRs, and MOC processes. Manage small to medium projects with effective communication skills and attention to detail. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, three-plus years of engineering project management experience, and previous natural gas industry experience. Occasional travel to remote sites is required.
Required Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Proficiency in engineering principles and practices relevant to the energy sector
- Experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong technical skills in areas such as design, construction, and operation of energy infrastructure
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems related to energy systems and equipment
- Experience with engineering software and tools used in the energy industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving project goals and deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage project documentation and requirements effectively
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in engineering practices
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Previous natural gas industry experience
- 3+ years of engineering project management experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with engineering analysis including specialty software
- Occasional travel to remote sites
