Job Summary
Field Service Engineer II for semiconductor equipment in Kawasaki, Japan. Responsibilities include installation, adjustment, and maintenance of equipment inside customer cleanrooms; potential involvement in process development and improvement for experienced engineers. Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person; analyze equipment log data and prepare reports using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; maximize tool uptime and ensure hardware issue resolution; manage new evaluation projects and drive project success. Requires 5+ years in field service engineering, strong customer communication, Japanese language at JLPT N2 level or above, and English reading/writing ability (TOEIC ~600). Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a field service engineer in related industry
- Japanese business level (JLPT N2 or higher)
- English reading/writing ability (TOEIC ~600 or equivalent)
