Job Summary
Manage custom equipment acquisition for New Product Introductions by leading project management, specification development, vendor selection, design, procurement, validation, and commissioning. Engage stakeholders across Facilities, EHS, Procurement, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations to deploy assets, replace older machines, and improve quality. Apply Design for Manufacturing, Risk assessment, and FMEA to build best-in-class manufacturing equipment in Taiwan while developing coherent specifications and managing project plans within schedule and budget constraints. Utilize CAD for equipment design and fixture creation, then collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability teams to define preventive maintenance programs and optimize assets within the manufacturing cell. Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and yield improvement as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/master's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
- 3+ years of working experience in the engineering field in production environment
- Experience in Project management, mechanical design and development
- Knowledge of PDCA, Risk analysis, FMEA, DFM, DfMR, HAZOP, DMAIC
- Experience in equipment/process monitoring by SPC
- Familiar with CAPEX and CEA submission process
- Proficiency in Microsoft application for writing technical report and documentation of procedures, change control and technical specification
- Experience in technical drawing and use of CAD or modelling tools
