Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance, visually inspect tools and equipment, and operate shut-off valves. Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts. Troubleshoot and repair MEP systems, including pump and motor replacement, plumbing, electrical equipment, and cosmetic items. Program TVs, assist with painting and drywall repair, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing work. Train and mentor other engineers while performing Engineer on Duty responsibilities. Adhere to all safety policies, complete required certifications, and maintain professional guest interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
- Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- Valid Driver's License
