Job Summary
Troubleshoot technical, efficiency, quality, capacity, and ergonomic issues while reporting to leadership. Establish and maintain operational methods to improve productivity, coordinate sample and pattern changes, and implement innovative cost savings across labor, material, and overhead. Perform capacity studies, follow-up studies, and goal cards for trainees to enhance plant efficiency and garment costing. Determine equipment upgrades reflecting current trends and ensure continuity in rates across facilities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, three years of relevant experience, and 25% international and domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- International and domestic travel (approximately 25%)
- Ability to lift 10-40 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' apparel, manufacturing industry or process improvement experience
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
