Job Summary
Troubleshoot technical, efficiency, quality, capacity, and ergonomic issues while reporting to leadership. Establish operational methods to improve productivity and maintain production, inventory, and procedure systems. Coordinate sample and pattern changes by analyzing adjustments, costing modifications, and reviewing results. Develop and implement cost savings through method improvements, labor reductions, and process enhancements. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and determine equipment upgrades reflecting current trends. Perform capacity studies and goal cards for trainees to improve plant efficiency and garment costing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- International and domestic travel (approximately 25%)
- Ability to lift 10-40 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' apparel, manufacturing industry or process improvement experience
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
