Engineer II

Engineer II responsible for maintenance in casino/hotel facilities, specializing in painting, carpentry, drywall, and wallpaper; plans project layouts; utilize PPE; drywall repair and surface preparation; complete tasks in line with department standards; follow preventative maintenance schedules and document work in a database; respond to guest calls and employee maintenance issues across hotel rooms, casino areas, offices, shops, kitchen, laundry, and other areas; perform repair and maintenance of equipment; assist Chief Engineer with maintaining machinery and safety items on the vessel; possess knowledge of general maintenance procedures and state/local codes as they apply to the trade; able to apply mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions) and interpret technical documents such as operating manuals, procedures, safety rules, blueprints; capability to solve practical problems with variable factors; apprenticeship level knowledge emphasized; equal opportunity employment statement included.
