Job Summary
Engineer II - Automation role responsible for expanding automated testing coverage for Global Buying Tools at TJX. You will develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks across web applications, APIs, desktop apps, and databases, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, analyze defects, and communicate results to stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation best practices, champion DevSecOps, and ensure non-functional requirements are met. Key skills include Java or C#, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber JVM, TestNG, REST Assured, SQL queries, Jira/Confluence/HP ALM/Zephyr, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, and experience with automated testing in large-scale enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Automation Engineer experience
- Experience with Java or C# and automation tools like Selenium
- Proficient with software testing life cycle and tools like Jira, Confluence, HP/ALM and Zephyr
- Experience in Web application testing and API testing
- Experience with relational databases and constructing SQL queries
- Automation test development using C# or Java
- Test Automation Framework development – e.g., Cucumber JVM with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, REST Assured
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Experience with BDD/TDD and automated testing in enterprise environments
- Exposure to cloud and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos) is a plus
