Engineer II, Analytics

Job Summary
Design, test, and implement features for Data & AI data products; integrate data from disparate sources into data products used by business stakeholders; create and maintain data product source code in GitHub; implement data structures and visualization; identify opportunities for data quality improvements to boost performance; participate in governance and best practices; drive insights with senior leaders; collaborate with cross-functional teams; participate in ongoing improvement of data pipelines and self-service support; able to work evenings and odd hours as needed; travel less than 5%; on-site in Knoxville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative discipline
- Minimum 3 years' analytics/engineering experience or related industries preferred
- Expertise in SQL
- Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse technology such as Databricks
- Experience with source control tools such as GitHub
- Experience in R or Python
- Experience in Shiny/Streamlit applications
- Experience in Tableau
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
- Less than 5% travel required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
