Job Summary
Engineer I Wet Seal System - Pre-order phase: interpret and analyze project specifications across mechanical design, instruments, site conditions, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing specs; prepare and release techno-commercial offers, P&ID, instrument hookup diagrams, and technical clarifications; manage supplier quotes and lead times; participate in technical reviews with customers/EPC/OEM; hand over scope and documents post-order to execution teams; apply knowledge of mechanical seal systems and piping plans (API/ASME standards); CAD tools (Solid Edge) experience; 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience; education in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical /Instrumentation engineering or equivalent
- 0-2 years of industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of interpretation of customer/project specifications
- Experience with mechanical seal support systems and related instrumentation (e.g., API piping plans)
- Working knowledge of API 682, API 610, API 614, and ASME/ANSI piping and pressure vessels standards
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Solid Edge)
- Ability to prepare P&ID, instrument hookup diagrams, control narratives, and techno-commercial offers
- Experience in vendor quote alignment and manufacturability assessments
