Job Summary
Promote safety practices and optimize plant production by implementing improvement opportunities and managing process constraints. Work with operations and manufacturing experts to resolve technical issues and develop documentation including P&IDs, material balances, and hydraulic calculations. Contribute to process safety and environmental performance through participation in process hazards analysis, management of changes, and incident investigations. Manage small capital projects from design through startup. Requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and ability to travel up to 15% of time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident status
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in process controls, project management, or process safety management
- Experience with AutoCAD LT, AFT Fathom, or SolidWorks
- Experience in chemical process industry/manufacturing
