Job Summary
Engineer I to support Navy engineering and sustainment programs in a government contracting environment. Responsibilities include reviewing technical data packages for compliance, evaluating engineering referrals, assisting with QC/QA system design and maintenance, reviewing and developing technical data and provisioning packages, analyzing performance data for Readiness Based Sparing models, performing a variety of engineering and support tasks, collaborating with senior engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; preferred experience includes internship or co-op in engineering programs and familiarity with DoD/government programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 0–3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment under direct supervision
- Proficiency with technical documentation and engineering principles
