Job Summary
Engineer I – Project Controls role focusing on planning, scheduling, and cost control for global projects across highways, rail, infrastructure, residential, and related markets. Responsible for applying integrated project controls processes, developing detailed schedules and CBS/WBS, producing cost reports and forecasts, performing earned value analysis, tracking budgets and variances, preparing change orders, and delivering dashboards and ad hoc Power BI reports. Requires strong data analytics, stakeholder collaboration, and ability to create actionable insights from large data sets; experience with CPM, CBS, CPM concepts, and Power BI is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in cost control
- Professional fluency in English
- Strong understanding of earned value concepts and calculations
- Proficiency in cost management tools such as Ecosys and report preparation skills
- Proficient in Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
- Proficient in Budget/Cost Control, Cash flow & Contingency management
- Exposure in Cost Change Control
- Good understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
- Expert in Microsoft Power BI
- Expertise in O365 Apps
- Experience with automation or scripting (Visual Basic or similar) would be a plus
- Experience in EPCM or major project controls environments
