Job Summary
Perform mechanical design and development activities by determining and developing approaches and solutions while collaborating with program or team experts. Support engineering builds, hardware integration, and hardware verification through hands-on lab work within the PCAS organization. Apply knowledge of mechanical drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing alongside manufacturing methods such as machining, casting, forging, and welding. Requires an active DoD Secret security clearance on day one and a STEM degree, with CREO or similar 3D modeling tool experience preferred. Salary range is 57,200 USD to 108,800 USD for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience with CREO or similar 3D modeling tools
Desired Qualifications
- Specific major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical design, engineering, and analysis
