Engineer I

Engineer I assigned to hotel maintenance responsibilities including responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve issues, performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment, inspecting and servicing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, managing maintenance inventory, following safety policies, and ensuring proper operation of building services. The role requires basic knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance, as well as the ability to document daily activities and coordinate with other shifts using approved communication standards. Requires ability to operate and troubleshoot various equipment, perform cleanups of work areas, and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures; high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; experience in general maintenance is a plus; Driver’s License is required.
