Engineer I

Engineer I role: Respond to and attend guest repair requests; communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues; perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment; visually inspect equipment; carry equipment; identify and operate shut-off valves and building utility shut-offs; maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts; communicate daily activities to other shifts; demonstrate knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems; perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and trim repairs, and basic repairs to guestroom items; test and troubleshoot equipment, plumbing, electrical components, TVs, and more; follow Lockout/Tagout and safety policies; assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance; possess basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature changes; and contribute to teamwork and guest service while upholding quality standards.
