Engineer I

Maintain all building related systems and the building envelope to ensure safety of hotel guests, associates, and vendors; perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl); inspect and assist with electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other hotel equipment; service the hotel’s pool and maintain exterior curb appeal; refurbish furniture and fixtures; move furnishings as needed; respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure guest satisfaction; comply with attendance rules and be available regularly; exposure to extreme temperatures and operation of heavy machinery; emphasize energy efficiency and adherence to SOPs, codes, and company culture; requires vocational training or certification in one or more trades and effective communication skills; hotel experience preferred.
