Job Summary
Hotel Engineer I performing maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, spa amenities; troubleshoot and balance hot tub chemistry; assist with routine preventive maintenance; log and track maintenance tasks; collaborate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and F&B to resolve issues; 2+ years experience in hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance; able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally; flexible shifts including weekends/holidays; Gravity Haus offers full-time benefits including health insurance and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, tools, and basic repairs
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and mechanical systems
- Comfortable using a computer to communicate, process invoices, and manage maintenance documents/logs
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- A self-starter who’s organized, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
