Job Summary
Perform hands-on software development and testing, including user story analysis, design, and development of applications. Conduct ongoing refactoring to improve code structure and quality while driving builds automation. Contribute to API specs, code reviews, and proof of concepts, and manage technical requirements for the product backlog. Liaise with the technical product manager to prioritize items and identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies. Upgrade system software and hardware components as required, maintaining documentation for installation and troubleshooting. Work in an agile team environment, utilizing AI/LLM tools and distributed systems expertise. Schedule includes 2nd shifts (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends, with a minimum of three days in the Bangalore office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of IT experience with focused development experience
- Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecture and design of distributed applications
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information technology, computer related discipline or 5 years of IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment
- Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
- Must be able to work in a team environment with a 'can do' attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges
- Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding skills across a variety of platforms (.NET C#, SOA/Web Services, REST API, JSON, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, XML, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, AngularJS, Selenium, Python)
- Experience with distributed (multi-threaded) systems, algorithms, message queuing, and relational/XML databases
- Exposure to SQL/SSIS/Postgres/Stored procedure development
- Must be willing and able to work in 2nd shifts (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends as required
- Must be willing to work from Bangalore office location minimum 3 days in a week
Desired Qualifications
- AWS experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Business Travel Industry preferred but not mandatory
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude code, Copilot, etc.)
