Job Summary
Receive instruction from the Design Manager to prepare busbar layout 3D models and 2D shop drawings for commercial and data center projects. Conduct review meetings with the project team to ensure customer requirements are met and communicate BOQ changes. Forward drawings for approval, follow up on pending inputs, and prepare site measurements based on received inputs. Maintain zero design errors and update drawing locations of working and output files properly. Adhere to company H&S guidelines and HSE policies while working in the factory and at the site. Complete each project design on or before estimated dates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a BIM Coordinator role
- Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflow
- Familiarity with work collaboration in local and cloud servers
- Understanding of ISO 19650 and best practices for drafting technical BIM drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and NavisWorks
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team
- Demonstrated history of delivering BIM Models and shop drawings as part of a BIM team
- Excellent communication skills
- Light lifting (2-10 kg)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience coordinating with all discipline sub-contractors for data center and high-rise building projects
