Job Summary
Conduct preventative and repair maintenance to ensure hotel standards while treating guests warmly. Perform room inspections, install or repair wall coverings, paint, and replace electrical fixtures. Repair furniture, install televisions, and handle minor plumbing and heating/cooling systems. Troubleshoot kitchen equipment, trace water lines, and maintain all repair records. Adhere to local, state, and federal codes while tracking guest satisfaction scores. Work as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods, following service recovery guidelines and safety protocols. Requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and compliance with OSHA standards. Schedule varies, including holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous engineer/maintenance experience
- equivalent training
- High School diploma
- Trade school course work in related field
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
