Engineer (Hotel Maintenance)

Conduct room inspections to identify repair needs and perform preventative maintenance on heating, cooling, and water systems. Install or repair sheetrock, paint areas, and replace electrical fixtures, light bulbs, and televisions. Troubleshoot kitchen equipment, repair furniture, and trace water lines while maintaining all records. Perform minor plumbing functions and ensure work complies with local, state, and federal codes. Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Work as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak check-in/out periods, following Service Recovery Guidelines. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
