Job Summary
Assist with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment as assigned. Participate in the preventative maintenance program, handle guest requests, and complete other work orders. Perform trade jobs including carpentry, painting, and plumbing while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Evaluate alternative courses of action quickly in stressful, high-pressure situations and solve workplace problems by anticipating and preventing issues. Work unsupervised and communicate clearly with co-workers and guests. Handle physical demands involving lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Long hours sometimes required
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
- Must be able to work unsupervised
