Job Summary
Assist with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment as assigned, including participating in the preventative maintenance program and handling guest requests and work orders. Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing, and drive a shuttle van when needed. Execute all tasks in a safe and efficient manner while working unsupervised. The role involves long hours, heavy physical exertion, and the ability to stand for the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Long hours sometimes required
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
- Must be able to work unsupervised
