Job Summary
Engineer responsible for maintaining building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) and facilities at Hilton Garden Inn Austin Arboretum. Responsibilities include maintaining the preventive maintenance program for guest rooms, performing basic carpentry, painting, renovation, and furniture adjustments, keeping tools and workspace organized, completing work orders and accurate records, maintaining pool equipment and grounds, cleaning and logging chemical balances, and identifying/addressing potential issues in public areas and meeting spaces. Requires at least 2 years of hotel-engineer experience, ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel environment at the Engineer level required
- Stable work history required
- Must be able to work with and understand basic arithmetic functions
