Job Summary
Monitor daily operations of production lines and assist with troubleshooting downtime-related issues. Manage line improvements, work through CAPAs and deviations, and perform field evaluations of existing systems to provide engineering design recommendations. Translate user requirements into technical documentation for third-party execution while performing engineering studies for automation system installations. This contract role supports senior staff in project initiation and delivery within a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical environment, requiring flexibility for overtime and potential conversion to permanent status.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated environment
- Mechanical systems experience
- Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
- Work In teams
- communication
- Must be able to work OT as needed
- Flexibility as workload increases
Desired Qualifications
- Previous intern experience
- Experience with automation
- Experience with computer programming, systems, and/or robotics
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., Maximo)
- Experience with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks or similar
- Strong technical writing skills
