Job Summary
General contractor/engineering role focused on design support and systems implementation for transportation projects in California. Responsibilities include overseeing field installation works and subcontractors, maintaining active California Class A General Engineering and/or Class C-10 electrical licenses as the company qualifier, supporting design and analysis with the Lead Engineer, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols, and assisting with supplier identification, procurement, and cost estimation for California projects.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Class A General Engineering contractor license and/or California Class C-10 electrical contractor’s license
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in roles such as electrician, journeyman, foreman, supervisor, or senior technician OR a four-year degree in engineering or a related field (architecture, project management)
- Experience using standard engineering tools
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams (bid/offer development and project delivery)
- Familiarity with regulations and standards pertaining to transportation in California (desired)
