Job Summary
Firmware Test and Product Test Engineer who will build and develop known, grey-box, and closed-system validation tests for SSD firmware used in datacenter applications; translate product requirements into effective validation coverage with firmware, hardware, and product development teams; create, execute, and analyze test plans that verify functionality, quality, and reliability across the SSD development lifecycle; use C and Python and automation frameworks to accelerate firmware bug finding and support debugging and root-cause analysis; collaborate with the firmware team to drive continuous improvement of validation methodologies and take advantage of AI-supported tools to speed up test creation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven programming skills in C and Python
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel, including international and intercontinental business trips, as needed
