Job Summary
Develop firmware in C/C++ for control functions, communication protocols, and drivers on Linux or real-time operating systems. Coordinate with global design and development teams, contribute to project requirements analysis, and maintain software design documents. Conduct peer and code reviews to recommend plans that improve product software quality. Own projects, develop sustaining codebases, and ensure robust, reliable, and well-structured software systems. Requires 4 to 6 years of experience with microcontrollers, DSP, RTOS, and protocols like CAN, I2C, and SPI.
Required Qualifications
- BE - Computer Science \ Electronics Engineering or Equivalent
- 4 to 6 years of experience in firmware development
- C experience
- Exposure to microcontrollers
- Digital Signal Processor (DSP) exposure
- RTOS exposure
- wifi exposure
- wifi stack development exposure
- zigbee exposure
- ethernet exposure
- peripherals and drivers exposure (ADC, PWM, Comparators, DAC)
- CAN protocol exposure
- I2C protocol exposure
- SPI protocol exposure
- Ethernet protocol exposure
- SNMP protocol exposure
- Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, well-structured code
- Ability to review code for readability, and robust/reliable operation in a software system
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Strong Team Player
Desired Qualifications
- Interfacing with communications protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet & SNMP protocol
- Real-time operating system experience
