Job Summary
Conduct chemical testing and program follow-up on-site while performing first-line troubleshooting for cooling, boiler, water, waste, and industrial process units. Execute site surveys, start-up, and commissioning of dosing systems, then diagnose larger repairs by coordinating with the technical team. Generate customer reports, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely chemical orders. Maintain strong communication with customers and the Site Representative, support the Account Manager during business reviews, and lead technical training for operation engineers. Comply with safety policies and report incidents to the Line Manager and EHS Manager. Cover the Abu Dhabi region with a preference for candidates residing in Ruwais or Mirfa.
Required Qualifications
- comprehensive understanding of Process and Water Treatment Chemicals Technology within the Oil &Gas and Petrochemical industries
- BSc in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- 4-7 years of experience in Process & Water Treatment Chemicals within the oil and gas industry
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in data processing and reporting
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn new software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Driven by technical improvements, with a proactive approach to taking initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong presentation skills
- Service-oriented with an external focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Commercial understanding and interest
- High degree of flexibility
- Valid driver's license
- willingness to travel frequently to customer sites
- comfortable handling chemicals and industrial equipment
- must strictly follow all safety regulations
Desired Qualifications
