Job Summary
Manage and optimize physical infrastructure by assessing facility requirements, designing operational systems, and overseeing maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Develop preventative maintenance programs, lead facility reconfigurations and renovations from design through budget management, and coordinate with external contractors for specialized tasks. Provide engineering expertise for troubleshooting complex equipment failures, maintain environmental controls for cleanrooms, and implement energy-saving programs. Support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives. Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 2-4 years of facilities experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in facilities management or engineering
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficient in CAD or related software for facility design and layout
- Experience with building management systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
