Job Summary
Responsible for engineering data maintenance and quality, standards administration, and governance of internal engineering documents in DocuQuest. Supports data validation, enrichment, consolidation, deduplication, and classification to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of engineering information across systems. Maintains item, BOM, document, and part data per established standards and governance. Coordinates publishing of internal standards and controlled documents, ensuring templates, formatting, structure, and control requirements are met. Collaborates with global engineering teams and stakeholders to apply standards and deliver reliable documentation. Contributes to monitoring and protecting Flowserve intellectual property through routine review and follow-up activities. Proficiency with PLM, document management, controlled datasets, and technical writing within Flowserve products is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- minimum 5 years of industrial experience
- Experience with PLM, document management, or similar engineering data and content management systems
- Experience supporting engineering master data, part libraries, material libraries, or similar controlled datasets
- Experience supporting controlled documentation, standards publishing, or document administration processes
- Experience creating, updating, or reviewing technical documentation or training materials (preferably in technical writing related to Flowserve products)
- Strong organizational, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in data and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a structured environment
