Job Summary
Develop and optimize embedded software and device drivers for ADI audio ICs, implementing, testing, and debugging audio firmware on Linux, Windows, Android, and other embedded platforms. Assist with audio system integration and bring-up, while developing automated tests, validation frameworks, and audio test procedures. Investigate and resolve software and system issues, collaborating with hardware, DSP, systems, and customer engineering teams to deliver high-quality audio solutions. Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment. Work in a cross-functional environment focusing on embedded audio architecture, DSP technologies, and hardware/software system integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in embedded software, firmware, or audio software development through academic projects, internships, research, or industry experience
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python
- Familiarity with software development tools and workflows, including Git and modern IDEs
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, operating systems, or computer architecture
- Interest in using AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
