Job Summary
Engineer - Electrical role at Clydeport Engineering Department (KGV Docks, Glasgow). Support maintenance of electrical equipment to current standards with zero defects, work towards authorised person for HV/LV systems, use fault finding diagnostic equipment to minimise reactive maintenance, resolve unplanned failures to meet reliability targets, and develop multi-skilled capabilities in mechanical and electrical engineering. Role is shift-based and may require travel to other sites within the cluster.
Required Qualifications
- time served Electrician
- experience maintaining heavy plant and machinery in heavy industrial sector
- excellent fault finding skills
- willing to work at heights
- experience with High Voltage and Three Phase desirable
