Job Summary
Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing generator and electrical product components across the lifecycle; perform thermal, stress, and modal analyses; conduct testing and validate designs; develop design documentation (drawings, specifications, layouts, diagrams) and wiring/interface documents; ensure compliance with IEC/NEC/CSA/IECEx/ATEX standards; support RCA/CAPA, supplier design evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration; contribute to project milestones, Lean process improvements, and peer design reviews; ownership of electrical hardware and systems and engagement with stakeholders across global sites.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering (USA) or equivalent combination including a high school diploma/GED with extensive relevant experience
- For USA roles, minimum 4+ years of related engineering experience is implied by degree requirement and role seniority (mid-level), with considerations for US immigration compliance noted in posting.
