Engineer Defectivity

Job Summary
Manage top ICN8 defectivity problems by investigating, checking, and controlling defect levels across current and new processes within the 8" fab. Optimize defect inspection strategies using state-of-the-art optical tools and lead problem-solving teams during incidents. Maintain a baseline improvement process while supporting equipment and process engineers in implementing correct off-line monitoring. Monitor defectivity trends, handle out-of-spec issues, and guide senior engineers to achieve departmental objectives. Requires a Master's degree in applied science or electronics, proven leadership experience, and knowledge of statistical process control and quality management systems. Dutch language proficiency is required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in applied science, Physics, Electronics or other relevant technical area
- Proven leadership of project and improvement teams
- Ability to act quickly and carefully under time pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects or issues in parallel
- Can adjust the level of communication to the level of his audience: from defective operators to ICN8-MT
- Knowledge of process optimization, statistical process control, FMEA and Quality Management Systems
- Languages: Dutch
Desired Qualifications
- Preferable 2-5 years' experience in a high-tech environment
- Knowledge of complex production processes
