Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain the scalable and reliable GCP cloud-based data infrastructure and ELT/ETL processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture and data warehouse requirements. Automate data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration workflows using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools. Deliver production quality, modular, reproducible code in Python and SQL. Implement CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines and data-related applications. Stay current with developments in the field and champion promising new methods relevant to the problems at hand. Technologies include GCP (BigQuery, GCS), Composer/Airflow, Terraform, CircleCI, GitHub, Jira, Confluence; experience with frontend tech (React, Angular, Flask, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus; domain knowledge in News, Media & Communications is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or equivalent
