Job Summary
Live Nation Entertainment seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to deploy and maintain cybersecurity tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management), collaborate with IT to strengthen security posture, assist in incident response, automate routine tasks with scripting, and document configurations. Requires 2–4 years of cybersecurity tools/IT security experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2–4 years of experience working with cybersecurity tools or IT infrastructure security
- Familiarity with security technologies (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, PAM)
- Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Linux and Windows environments
- Awareness of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn advanced security concepts
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Security+ or GSEC (preferred)
- Familiarity with PAM
- Cloud platform exposure
- Scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Linux and Windows environments
- Awareness of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
