Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves and utility shut-offs. Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts, and test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and guestroom items. Program TVs, perform general housekeeping, and handle interior/exterior landscaping tasks. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance and ensure safety compliance. Complete daily activity reporting and maintain professional appearance while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
- No supervisory experience
