Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves and utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing work. Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items. Program TVs, perform surface preparation, painting, and minor drywall/trim repairs. Conduct landscaping repairs and external sprinkler maintenance. Input air handler schedules and make temperature changes. Report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete required safety training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
