Job Summary
Engineer – Blast Engineering at WSP UK’s Specialists Group. Join the Blast Engineering team to contribute to structural analysis services for high-profile projects, including blast loading simulations, SDOF/FEA analyses, and design of structural components to mitigate blast and direct impact threats. You will interpret security reports, contribute to R&D within Advanced Structural Analysis, attend client meetings, produce reports and presentations, and collaborate with structural, security, and façade engineering teams. Candidates should have a degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, experience with dynamic structural analysis and FEA principles, proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit), programming/scripting (Python/MATLAB) is a plus, and strong communication skills in English.
