Engineer Associate Senior

Engineer Associate Senior within the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Construction & Materials Division, focusing on Transportation and Maintenance Improvement Projects including federally funded work. Responsible for monitoring contractor compliance with federal requirements (Buy America/Build America, Title VI, DBE, and Davis-Bacon), managing daily federal aid tasks from project initiation through closeout, and utilizing project management, scheduling, and cost-analysis software. Serves as primary contact for public information, legal holds, and claims for the division and disseminates federal aid information. The role requires ensuring compliance with CFRs and agency standards, coordinating audits, and leading documentation efforts for TIP/MIP projects, including closeout activities, change orders, and subcontractor oversight. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, reporting, and communication with contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders. The position supports hybrid work arrangements after training and involves both office and field work with exposure to a range of conditions.
