Engineer - Associate

Entry level engineer responsible for routine, technical work including design, problem solving, and technical support for the optimum operation and maintenance of company assets. Works on teams of field employees, technicians, engineers and other personnel. Role is based out of one of the service centers: Redford (SE), Mt Clemens (NE), or Western Wayne Service Center - Belleville (SW); hybrid work arrangement with in-person work required at an assigned location and any remote work expected from the employee’s primary residence per company guidelines. Must be available to support Emergency Response to storms or events impacting service. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (qualification may include degree anticipated within nine months with verification prior to starting). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), strong analytical and problem solving, time management, organization, and interpersonal skills. Preferred: some internship experience and electrical engineering or power distribution coursework.
