Job Summary
Drive the Python backend powering real-time medical documentation in production. Manage live transcription of doctor consultations by streaming audio, integrating multiple STT providers, and implementing quality monitoring with fallback mechanisms. Own our Applied AI core, including LLM evaluation pipelines, prompt optimization, multi-provider routing, and cost/latency trade-offs at scale. Maintain multi-cloud production infrastructure ensuring reliable clinical deployment. Lead greenfield projects defining the next evolution of our AI doctor. Work within a hybrid schedule of two days in Berlin-Mitte, with a salary range of 60,000 - 90,000 € and Founding-Level VSOP.
Required Qualifications
- Python programming skills with at least three years of programming experience
- Ability to build systems from end to end and deliver reliable products
- High self-initiative: recognizing problems, proposing solutions, and delivering them
- Experience working with modern AI tools and interest in Applied AI (evaluation, prompting, routing, real-time pipelines)
- German language proficiency at a conversational level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience prototyping on weekends and running personal projects
- Experience owning systems from start to finish and delivering products that others rely on
- Experience with modern AI tools and a desire to dive deep into Applied AI (evaluation, prompting, routing, real-time pipelines), regardless of current experience level
