Job Summary
Engineer Application Services providing first-line application support for equity and derivative markets. Respond to incidents promptly, apply known workarounds, escalate to DevOps when necessary, research incidents, create articles/resolutions, and support ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). Support L2 incident resolutions, automation tasks, deployments, and cloud cost/compliance management. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or IT, 1-2 years in a similar role, and willingness to work UK shift; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, IT, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in similar role (preferred)
- Experience in ISTM/AWS cloud-based environment (advantage)
- Understanding of application support with exposure to Unix-based operating systems
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work solo and in a team
- Willingness to work different working hours (UK Shift)
