Job Summary
Assist with operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs and performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and swimming pool facilities. Execute trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor furniture repair while monitoring energy conservation. Immediately follow up on alarms to determine location and cause, report emergency status to the Front Desk, and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment with a valid driver's license for potential shuttle van use.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
