Job Summary
Assist with operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs and performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, kitchen equipment, laundry systems, and HVAC units. Execute trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing, while monitoring energy conservation and repairing small equipment upon request. Immediately follow up on alarms to determine location and cause, report emergency status to the Front Desk, and handle guest requests and work orders. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to drive a shuttle van when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
