Engineer to develop AI and automation solutions for insurance processes. Responsibilities include building and enhancing automation workflows using RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate), configuring OCR/NLP or AI services within workflows, developing reusable Python utilities, and maintaining technical documentation. Additional duties involve process analysis and delivery support (documenting current-state steps, exceptions, data inputs/outputs), defining automation requirements and test plans, assisting with API integrations (REST/JSON) and authentication patterns (OAuth, service principals), supporting AI/ML model development and integration (data labeling/curation, feature preparation, monitoring hooks), and contributing to governance by tracking automation metrics and following secure development practices. Collaboration with teammates and mentoring of junior members are emphasized, with opportunities to participate in training and knowledge sharing to support underwriting goals.
