Job Summary
Senior engineering role providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, reviews work of subordinate engineers, and offers direction on a corporate/industry level. Requires advanced engineering expertise, independence in performing un-reviewed work, and strong planning, estimation, scheduling, and documentation skills. Emphasizes ongoing professional development, effective written and oral communication, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams within the utility sector. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years experience as a practicing engineer
- State registration as a Professional Engineer
- An expert in engineering theories and principles.
- An expert in the practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and preparing and presenting recommendations.
- Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership within the utility industry.
