Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal working conditions. Respond promptly to emergency situations like power outages and equipment failures, while monitoring boilers, chillers, elevators, and fire safety systems for reliability. Implement energy-saving measures and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders. Ensure compliance with safety standards and address identified hazards immediately. This role requires basic knowledge of skilled trades including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, along with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work throughout the resort. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $24.50 with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and paid parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of skilled trade activities in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical and mechanical work
- Skill in using various trade tools, including both hand and electric tools
- Basic aptitude for and ability to operate and repair equipment
- Skilled in several areas such as Pools, HVAC, electrical, IT, carpentry, dry walling, painting, and plumbing
- Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
- Ability to move and work throughout the resort for the duration of the shift
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Ability to push and pull objects or materials weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to grasp, lift, or carry items weighing up to 75 lbs waist high
- Must be hard-working
